The VC and GC Association have officially launched the new and improved website (vcgca.org). The website's aim is to inform and educate the public on both the Victoria Cross and George Cross, whilst also acting as a central source of information on all past and present holders. In future, the website will allow access to the Association’s huge archive of historical records on former members.
The VC and GC Association have now gained a foothold in the digital age. This will allow access to valuable information for families and descendants of all past and present members. In the future our website will allow access to the wealth of information available in Association’s Archive.
The 29th Biennial Reunion of the Association was attended by 21 members and four widows of VC and GC recipients. The images above give a flavour of the week and much thanks is due to their President, HRH The Prince of Wales, The Duchess of Cornwall and the De L'Isle family who hosted a wonderful visit to their home, Penshurst Place.
The VC and GC Association Biennial Reunion is due to take place in London between the 9th and 13 th of May. A number of key events will take place to mark the occasion, including a President's Tea Party at St James' Palace, an Official Reunion Dinner at the Union Jack Club and a Remembrance Service.
